Cymbidium dayanum x self
(Tipo refers to the 'typical' or normal color form of the blooms)
This species is widespread across tropical regions of Asia and is perfect for warm climates. Plants prefer very bright, indirect light and do not need a cool spell in order to produce bloom stems. Flowers will generally emerge towards the end of summer, with larger plants producing a multitude of stems.
The narrow grass-like foliage will quickly reach flowering size. Blooms are white with red striping, on stems that arch or hang pendulous from the edges of the container. Mature plants should grow in hanging pots or baskets for best effect.
Plants offered are growing in 2.5" deep pots with good roots and foliage. Ready for larger containers this summer.
