Pot. Paxton Brooks 'Orange Surprise' x Laelia rubescens (aurea x alba)
(Bloom photos show first bloom seedlings.)
The first time we made this cross it was very limited and we never officially offered them. However, we did flower several and loved the results enough to make it again! Upright stems with orange, gold, yellow and peach shades blooms showing darker eyes in the center. In some seedlings the center will be reddish and others are almost black. We even saw one with a picotee around the edges.
Seedlings are growing well in 2.5" pots. These plants are near flowering size with many expected to bloom within 12 months.
