Carter and Holmes Orchids will speak, sell and exhibit at this event hosted by the SCOS.

We are back- back - BACK again!!!!

The 2025 South Carolina Orchid Society Show and Sale will be coming soon in Columbia South Carolina! We will be at the Garden Club Council of Greater Columbia building in downtown Columbia - located at 1605 Park Circle (corner of Blossom and Pickens Street). Please join us for a fun weekend of amazing orchid displays- educational speakers- raffles- orchids and companion plants for sale- along with artisan orchid pots and jewelry. As always- this is a FREE event with plenty of FREE parking! Can't wait to see you there!!!

The nursery is open to the public from 9-5, Monday through Saturday throughout the year (Closed Major Holidays).

If you are planning a trip to see us and want to view as much as possible please contact us ahead of time so someone can be available during your visit.

In addition to our orchids, we also love companion plants like begonias, gesneriads, ferns and more.  We propagate most ourselves from cuttings, spore or seed. 

Our collection includes decades old varieties not commonly seen, plus new and exciting plants. Varieties available may change seasonally but we always have something to choose from.
